You made the decision to receive our gentle, non-invasive chiropractic care here at Body Works Health and Wellness. Now, the questions remaining are, does your insurance cover adjustments? Will you have to pay a deductible/Copay? Can you set up a monthly payment plan for our chiropractic services. We can help you match a plan to fit within your budget so you can begin care soon.
Insurances
We accept all major medical insurances such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, United and Medicare. We can contact your insurance company to determine if chiropractic services are covered; some insurance plans may even cover massage therapy. Some insurance such as Medicare, for example, will only cover chiropractic adjustments. Therefore, you are financially responsible for other services such as evaluations and x-rays. Other insurance plans offer to cover a pre-determined number of visits each year, so please contact your insurance company prior to your visit.
Deductible
Many insurance companies have plans through which you are required to meet the deductible costs before the insurance will cover services. A deductible is a cost-sharing plan in which the insurance company and you pay a portion of your medical expenses. If you have a deductible on your policy, your monthly insurance rates are probably less expensive, but this means that you are responsible for paying the deductible before the insurance will begin to pay.
Co-Pays
Most health insurance plans will cover the larger costs of your chiropractic care, but you may be required to pay a co-pay. Co-pays can be things such as office visits or prescriptions. Please confirm with your insurance company if you have an office co-pay prior to scheduling your chiropractic visit at Body Works Health and Wellness. Our office staff can also help contact your insurance company or provide greater details regarding your insurance plan.
Co-Insurance
A co-insurance kicks in after you have paid your full deductible. From that point, you are required to pay a certain percentage of the medical costs, which may or may not include chiropractic care. If your monthly insurance premium is low, your co-insurance may be a higher percentage.
Payment Plans
Body Works Health & Wellness offers pre-paid wellness plan if your health insurance does not cover chiropractic care or if your insurance does not cover wellness care. We set up an automatic payment that occurs on the first of the month. The plan automatically renews each month. If you wish to cancel your membership at any point in time, you must send an e-mail to info@bodyworkschicago.com providing your name, address, best contact number for verification purposes and an explanation for why you are cancelling. All responses are helpful for us to strive to provide better services.
